NHPHA Member-to-Member Email List

Who can use the NHPHA Member-to-Member email list?

The list is a benefit of membership, so only current members of the New Hampshire Public Health Association may use the list.  You must be subcribed to the list with a valid email in order to send or receive messages.

How do I subscribe to the list?

If you are a member of the NHPHA and are not already subscribed to the list, please contact the NHPHA administrative assistant to subscribe. If you are not a member of the NHPHA, you must become a member before subscribing to the list.

My employer is an organizational member of the NHPHA. May I use the Member-to-Member email list?

Maybe. Each level of organizational membership comes with a specific number of designated individuals. Designated individuals may subscribe to the list. Current information on the number of designated individuals at each level of organizational membership may be found by clicking here. If necessary, the NHPHA administrative assistant can help you determine who the designated individuals are for your organization.

I am subscribed to the list. What do I need to know to send a message to the list?

  1. Address your message to nhphalist@nhpha.org (put this address in the “To” field with no other addresses in the To, Cc, or Bcc fields).
  2. Check spelling and be sure to include contact information.
  3. Confirm that your message is related to public health in New Hampshire (list content criteria).
  4. The maximum allowed message plus attachment size is 1MB.
  5. Any attachment(s) must be in PDF file format. Try this site if you don't have the software to convert your document to a PDF file.
  6. Only use one period in your file name, just before the file extension (e.g. use filename.pdf instead of file.name.pdf).
  7. The message must be sent from the email at which you receive list messages.
  8. Plain text can be read by any email client, and is therefore preferred over HTML (but you can send either).
  9. If you have any difficulties, please send a note to the webmaster.
  10. How do I unsubscribe from the list?

The list software is configured to send each subscriber a tailored message once a month with information on using the list, including directions on how to unsubscribe.  If you know your username and password, click here for the list access page.

Are messages archived online?

Yes!  The list software is configured to send each subscriber a tailored message once a month. Instructions on accessing the online list archive, along with your password, are contained within this monthly email.
