The purpose of the NHPHA Policy Committee is to work under the Board's direction to develop evidence-based policy statements for the association on public health issues, to provide policy relevant sessions for state legislators, to make recommendations regarding the Association's priorities for the year, and to provide counsel to the NHPHA Policy Director regarding legislative priorities and monitoring legislation.
