Oral Health (08/08)

The New Hampshire Public Health Association (NHPHA) supports access to preventive and therapeutic oral care for all. While there have been recent efforts to improve access to professional oral care for New Hampshire's indigent, access remains a major problem for many of the State’s high risk populations such as children and the elderly.  The NHPHA supports innovative initiatives that promote improved health status including the following oral health services:

  • Increased access to evidenced based screening and preventive care;
  • Education;
  • Fluoridation;
  • Increased access to dental care and application of dental sealants;
  • Appropriate restorative care.
