Message from the NHPHA Executive Director

I am honored and excited to join the New Hampshire Public Health Association (NHPHA). Our association has a strong foundation, an impressive list of achievements, a committed board of directors, and a dedicated staff.

The NHPHA is dedicated to championing public health policy and practice, enriching the workforce, and inspiring leaders to improve the public’s health. This is our mission and commitment to you, our members, as well as our partners, our funders, and the communities of New Hampshire.

Our priorities and strategic plan to achieve a healthier New Hampshire define our work ahead. We will continue our professional development programs, advocacy efforts to enact effective policies that support population-based and individual health throughout New Hampshire, and adopt positions and opinions on behalf of the association.

In the coming months, I intend to connect with members, understand their needs, engage in professional development programs and public health policies, build relationships with stakeholders, and set priorities.

My pledge as Executive Director of this incredible association is to support you, our members, and provide a customized membership experience. Therefore, we must hear from you—our members, partners, and funders. We are interested in learning about your needs, ideas, and thoughts. We welcome your comments, questions, and participation. Don’t hesitate to contact me at (603) 228-2983 or via email at [email protected]. This is your association; help us make it work better for you.

This year, the NHPHA is entering its 30th year of service. This is a time of celebration. Join us at the virtual annual meeting on April 20, 2022, to celebrate our achievements and public health champions.

I look forward to serving you and our communities in continued success. Thank you!
