April Mottram, RPh is the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Public Health Association.  She has 30 years of experience working in the healthcare and public health field.  April has worked for North Country Health Consortium for 9 years where she served as the Center Director for the Northern New Hampshire Area Health Education Center, Director of the North Country Public Health Network, and Executive Director for the Region 7 Integrated Delivery Network.  These roles provided April with an opportunity to focus on healthcare workforce development and education, integration of behavioral health and primary care, emergency preparedness, public health initiatives, grant writing and grant management.  April has 20 years of experience working as a pharmacist in a variety of settings including retail, hospital and a 340B pharmacy within a Federally Qualified Health Center.  Additionally, she owned and operated an independent retail pharmacy.  April earned her Pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, Massachusetts.

Melissa Bernardin is the Advocacy & Program Coordinator at NHPHA. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with nearly two decades' experience in public policy advocacy and voter engagement, beginning with community outreach on environmental health and conservation issues and later expanding into grassroots organizing and lobbying on issues as varied as voting rights, minimum wage, retirement security, and reproductive health. Additionally, Melissa has held unique roles coordinating statewide initiatives: one focused on strengthening the advocacy capacity of human service groups, and another supporting a network of grassroots organizations focused on cultivating civic leadership. A nearly lifelong resident of New Hampshire, Melissa resides in Concord and loves finding time to get to the mountains or the seacoast to hike, bike or paddle.

Autumn Raschick-Goodwin is the Program Assistant at NHPHA. She graduated from New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2015 with a BFA majoring in Fine Arts and a minor in Printmaking. Autumn has extensive experience in customer service across various industries ranging from finance to consumer goods, but it was her National Service experience with the AmeriCorps VISTA program that cemented her desire to build a career in helping others. Autumn is thrilled to be working at the NHPHA to help improve public health in New Hampshire.

Ellen Smith Ahern, MSW is the Immunization Program Coordinator at NHPHA.  As a social worker with a focus in community organizing, she is passionate about building relationships and movements for inclusive, transformative change.  Ellen has worked with communities in CT for food and environmental justice, sustainable work and housing, and refugee rights and support - she is excited to join NHPHA's work with communities here in NH.  Ellen is also a professional dance artist whose performances explore the intersection of movement, storytelling and nature.  Originally from Illinois, she now lives in Lebanon and can often be found somewhere in the woods, trying to keep up with her kids.
