NHPHA Staff

Hanan Bedri is the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Public Health Association. Bedri brings more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and 13 years as an executive director of membership associations. Bedri started her career as a project coordinator for the New Hampshire Minority Health Coalition. In this role, she worked closely with underserved immigrant and refugee communities in Manchester, NH, including Vietnamese, African, Hispanic, and Arabic-speaking populations.

Her educational credentials include an M.S. in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University; an M.A. in Education and Human Development from George Washington University; and a B.S. in Community Health Management from Ahfad University for Women. Bedri also completed organization development courses at American University's Organization Development Program and Nonprofit Management courses at the University of Central Florida's Nonprofit Management Online Program.

Autumn Raschick-Goodwin is the Program Assistant at NHPHA. She graduated from New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2015 with a BFA majoring in Fine Arts and a minor in Printmaking. Autumn has extensive experience in customer service across various industries ranging from finance to consumer goods, but it was her National Service experience with the AmeriCorps VISTA program that cemented her desire to build a career in helping others. Autumn is thrilled to be working at the NHPHA to help improve public health in New Hampshire.

Ellen Smith Ahern, MSW is the Immunization Program Coordinator at NHPHA.  As a social worker with a focus in community organizing, she is passionate about building relationships and movements for inclusive, transformative change.  Ellen has worked with communities in CT for food and environmental justice, sustainable work and housing, and refugee rights and support - she is excited to join NHPHA's work with communities here in NH.  Ellen is also a professional dance artist whose performances explore the intersection of movement, storytelling and nature.  Originally from Illinois, she now lives in Lebanon and can often be found somewhere in the woods, trying to keep up with her kids.
