TEAM UP TAKE ACTION CONFERENCE

In partnership with Dartmouth Health, Vermont PHA, and Maine PHA

DECEMBER 9, 2022   I   Virtual Meeting

2022 TEAM UP, TAKE ACTION CONFERENCE

In partnership with Dartmouth Health, Vermont Public Health Association, and Maine Public Health Association, NHPHA invites you to join us at the 2022 Team Up, Take Action Conference on December 9, 2022.

This is a full-day virtual conference being curated by the New Hampshire Public Health Association (NHPHA), Dartmouth Health (DH), Vermont Public Health Association (VPHA), and Maine Public Health Association (MPHA), with an audience of about 150. Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give ideas-focused and evidence-based talks to foster learning and inspiration and provoke conversations that matter.

This year's conference theme is Covid Pandemic and the Public Health Action: Rebuilding Through Alliances to Promote Health Equity. The Team Up Take Action conference convenes public health and health care professionals, community activists, and health advocates to advance best practices and build collective capacity to improve community health through partnership. The conference was developed in response to a growing recognition that an interdisciplinary, coordinated, cross-sector approach is necessary to improve health equity. To advance health equity and improve health outcomes, we can no longer view these sectors as fundamentally separate from one another.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Team Up Take Action convenes public health, healthcare, and human and social service professionals to build bridges, understand each other's perspectives and learn best practices in cross-sector partnership and teamwork. The audience is professionals in public health, healthcare system, social services, community-based organizations, and students preparing for careers in all sectors.

BREAKOUT SESSION FORMAT
The conference breakout sessions are held virtually and are scheduled concurrently. Each session is scheduled for one hour, including 5 minutes of introduction, 45 minutes of presentation or panel discussion, and 10 minutes for questions and answers.
